Currently living on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland Australia,
I'm married to the most adorable caring man and we have two fantastic teenage sons which we are extremely proud of.

I suppose you could say I'm a typical Aussie , but what's typical? ha ha
I love to be surrounded by positive people , I don't have time for negativity.Although trying to help those who are in need is exhausting and mentaly draining, the reward of seeing them turn their life around and hit a positive path is food for the soul
My favourite past time I would have to say is photography..not the professional type by any means, just me and my trusty little camera, which works great when I remember to change the batteries!
Living here in Australia is great , with our unique animals , culture and beautiful cities and country, theres no better place to raise your children,

In case you didn't already know... Australia and the United States are the ONLY two developed nations not to sign the KYOTO agreement to reduce greenhouse gas
(GHG) emissions. In fact, our GHG emissions are INCREASING - How embarrassing is that!!!!??????
With elections coming up in 2007 NOW is the time to tell your local member of parliament that it's time Australia dealt with climate change. Apparently political
parties consider every letter received to represent 300 votes - so send a letter or email. And, of course, get your friends to do the same.

THANKS ,MATE..A Tribute To Steve Irwin |
As The news of Steve Irwins death sinks in, we marvel at this larikin man who managed to fit more into 44 years than most people dream of doing in 100.
Crikey, we're gonna miss you Steve.
It came as a complete shock, Steve Irwin seemed invincible. Nothing could stop this wildlife Warrior ,not a king brown snake, not a pride of lions, not even his beloved crocs.
Everyday he surrounded himself with some lethal creatures but he had a knack for survival.His father called it a gift and it got him through 44 incredible years until an unlikely encounter with a stingrays barb peirced his huge heart and left the rest of us without one of the greatest champions of wildlife conservation.
And it all began in the Sunshine Coasts backyard, "thats where my heart beats from" he once said in an interview,Steve really was a boy from Beerwah who had "done good" as the saying goes and thats proberbly what made the world fall so madly in love with him.
It was irrepressible passion,infectious energy and amazing animal instinct with Steve, so much so that in a room full of the worlds biggest superstars, it was Steve that all the stars wanted to see.
But for all the larger than life lovable antics, it was the message he spread so successfully that made Steve a great man..he was a conservationist through and through, thats why he was put on this planet, for the benefit of wildlife and wilderness areas.
And he put his money where his mouth was.
As a champion of conservation the world is a poorer place for his passing and our condolences go out to his family, especially to Terri Bindi and little Bob and Bob senior, Steve was a legend in his own lifetime and we can only wish to see his like again.

THE CROCODILES ARE CRYING
Endless visions fill my head – this man – as large as life
And instantly my heart mourns for his angels and his wife
Because the way I see Steve Irwin – just put everything aside
It comes back to his family – it comes back to his pride
His animals inclusive – Crikey – light the place with love!
Shine his star with everything he fought to rise above
The crazy-man of Khaki from the day he left the pouch
Living out his dream and in that classic ‘Stevo’ crouch
Exploding forth with character and redefining cheek
It’s one thing to be honoured as a champion unique
It’s one thing to have microphones and spotlight cameras shoved
It’s another to be taken in and genuinely loved
But that was where he had it right – I guess he always knew
From his fathers’ modest reptile park and then Australia Zoo
We cringed at times and shook our heads – but true to natures call
There was something very Irwin in the make up of us all
Yes the more I care to think of it – the more he had it right
If you’re going to make a difference – make it big and make it bright!
Yes - he was a lunatic! Yes - he went head first!
But he made the world feel happy with his energetic burst
A world so large and loyal that it’s hard to comprehend
I doubt we truly count the warmth until life meets an end
To count it now I say a prayer with words of inspiration
May the spotlight shine forever on his dream for conservation
…My daughter broke the news to me – my six year old in tears
It was like she’d just turned old enough to show her honest fears
I tried to make some sense of it but whilst her Dad was trying
His little girl explained it best…she said “The crocodiles are crying”
Their best mate’s up in heaven now – the crocs up there are smiling!
And as sure as flowers, poems and cards and memories are piling
As sure as we’ll continue with the trademarks of his spiel
Of all the tributes worthy – he was rough…but he was real
As sure as ‘Crikey!’ fills the sky
I think we’ll miss ya Steve…goodbye
