About Me |
I am 47 years old.
Born in the Philippines.
Lived in Australia since 1990.
Was married to the father of my son for 15 years.
Officially separated 07/07/07.
I had my share of heaven and hell but in all honesty....my marriage to a good man led me to find my centre and balance in life........only to realise that it can swing and tip you over the edge at anytime if you fail to make an effort to maintain and protect that balance.
I had been looked after rather well by my ex-husband. I don't think I have ever imagined life without him. He did everything for me. But I lost myself and my identity in the process. I didn't know who I was anymore. I didn't know what I was capable of doing. I didn't know my purpose, etc. etc.
In the first few months of my separation, I felt like a bird - caged for so long and even when the door was suddenly left open, I felt so afraid to escape.
Life is rapidly changing and I am definitely moving forward. One little step at a time and I will get that freedom. I have nothing much to lose but I surely know that I have an awful lot to gain. So here I am - wings growing slowly. I just hope I don't grow any horns and tails, ha ha.

Oh I really need to update my homepage and I wish I could just pick up the phone and invite you all for a drink or coffee at my place to catch up with everyone.
My online life is getting a little bit ridiculously shorter and shorter these days. My computer is just about divorce me, I reckon, ha ha!!!!!
No promises here........but I will try and keep in touch. Also, I am a bit reluctant to post in some homepages.......as their comment boxes are empty. I am not sure if I am allowed to post. And my homepage could use some cleaning too............just updates mostly..........and I will get there one day.....hopefully soon!
June 22, 2008 - UPDATE
It's been a long time ----- I almost could not remember how to work out picturetrail......but here I am again. I hope to reply to everyone soon.
My new place is looking better everyday......still lots of boxes of stuff lying around that needs sorting out and the fact that my new place is not even half the size of where I used to live for 16 years --- it makes it a bit difficult to sort things out and find the space for a lot of things. I have to learn to let go of so many things including those ones with sentimental values......which is probably for the better. I just don't have the spare rooms to store things and so I have to give away and sell a lot of things.
I missed you all..........and will definitely be in touch again. I hope to take some time off work too........I think I need at least a month off work ha ha.

I just want everyone to know that I had been really busy lately. We put our house on the market and sold to the next door neighbour. I had been looking for a new place to buy for me and my son and I have just started a new job too so everything is fast moving for us right now.
I have 2 months from today to move out of our house and poor little old me had no rest these days, ha ha. I come home from work and pack whatever I can manage. So I have not forgotten you people - I am just so busy at the moment. My apologies for the late replies to comments and inbox messages.
Hope to catch up with everyone soon!

Sorry guys if my setting won't allow comments with HTML. I am becoming a control freak, ha ha. But please don't be mad. I am still trying to learn HTML codes so I don't stretch my boxes.........as it can be very hard to read sometimes if the page is way too stretched because of huge images.
Besides.......I like text in my comments.....it's like talking to each other in a chat or forum way. I like reading them. So please forgive me if comments with HTML won't go thru.
To all my other friends from another planet who are lurking or visiting -- this is my hiding place for now so if you don't see me posting at the usual place - you know where to find me. Leave me a message and I will try and get back to you as soon as I can.
