Hello, I'm Steve from occupied Kingwood. I've been living in the Houston, TX area for about 15 years now. Originally from Jersey, I still sound like a 'Soprao's' speech coach. If there's one thing I can say about Texas, I'd tell everyone how friendly it is. The people are as warm as the weather. Big state with a big heart! There are exceptions. When it's 95 degrees with 100% humidity for 20 or 30 days in a row, people can get a little antzy! I still like it. As hot as it gets, I love it!
Regardless of the weather, the fishing here along the Gulf coast is great. Fresh water, salt water flats and bays as well as blue water. You can't beat the diversity of people, places, geography and species. They say "TEXAS, it's like a whole 'nother country!" ... Even the language!
As they say, "C'mon down and stay a while! Put yer feet up and relax!"" |

Who the Heck is Pegleg13?:
I'm Steve or pegleg13. A transplanted Jersey boy (Jersey City, in fact), transferred to the Houston, TX area and I love to fish. All kinds of fishing. Freshwater, saltwater, Inshore, offshore, it's all good. If I'm 20 minutes early showing up somewhere, I get a pole out and look for a pond or shoreline. Any weather, night or day. I now have a new Grandson. His name is Andrew. I may have to tone down some if the 'extreme' fishing, if I'm to bring Andrew along....
Boy, is my grandson Andrew a fine influence! He smiles when you talk to him and lights me up! Can't wait for them tocome over.

Something New: Andrew Scott Cole:
Andrew was born on Jan 19th at 4:15 PM. He came in fighting at 8lbs, 9 oz. Bright as a new penny and alert! He's getting dressed up in all sorts of neat outfits. Check out some of his pics!

Randy Garrett and Danny Holmes are friends the I greatly admire. Alway ready to help with anything and generous to a fault. My buddy, Tom Rowe, is a fine example of fatherhood and patience. It runs in his family.
