About Me |
Born and raised in Lubbock Texas, I moved to South Carolina in 1981, just after graduating from Monterey High School. I worked in advertising for a while, then at a warehouse. That is when I discovered I did not want to work an offcie/desk job. Rather would sit at a sewing machine and create things. I have been doing upholstery for over 23 years, and yes it is a passion!
Jason and I have been married 4 years. We mesh very well together, just like a fine wine and cheese. We have between us 3 children. Ages 21, 13 and 11. My son Houston , who is 21 is a United States Marine.

Introduce Yourself:
My name is Kathy Foster. My job profession is Upholsterer and I have been in this field for over 23 years. It is a passion for me to create beautiful things and working with my hands. Jason is my husband and we have between us three children ages 21, 13 and 11. My Son Houston, 21 is in the United State Marines.
Along with three kids we have 4 birds, 3 dogs & 2 cats , so yes it is like a zoo around here. You could call us pets lovers or just plain crazy!
My shop is built on our property and my commute to work is about 15 seconds. If I take the long way to work, all of about 30-40 seconds. Gas is just killing me!!!!!!

| I am a member of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce and you can find me as well listed on Jerry Fowlers website WWW.Jerryfowler.com under canvas and upholstery as a preferred vendor. If you dine at Ruths Chris Steak House, I upholstered the hostess station there. Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach, I covered the booths. The Rainforest Cafe, Lexington Medical Center, I covered the booths there. Federal Court house, made all of the seat cushions in each court room. Pilgrim Lutheran Church, made the kneeling pads and Gilbert United Methodist Church, kneeling pads there as well. These are just a few of my commercial contracts. |
